There is a walk on The Downs in Herne Bay towards Reculver. It is from here when you are on top of the cliff looking out to sea, among the grasses and the seeds heads, with the sea as the backdrop, and so many butterflies flutterting around. This is painted at a time when nature is hanging on to the last drops of summer, the last bit of warm sunshine.
