EXHIBITIONS AT SHE ROSE
The walls at She Rose are ever changing with the work of painters, printmakers and photographers.
Throughout 2022 there will be a range of predominantly female artists showing their work.
Sea Staring by Liz Gregg
Friday 18th February - Saturday 5th March
30 Days of Herne Bay Seascapes
The images were taken by Photographer Liz Gregg throughout October 2021. The aim was to take a photo looking out to sea from Herne Bay every day for one calendar month. The only requirement was to include a straight horizon running through the middle of each shot. Liz kept most images very minimalist, the sky and the sea just providing a wash of changing colours dictated by the time of day and weather. While some are peppered with points of interest, details that the viewer would need to search to find; there’s boats, buoys, birds, wind turbines, Herne Bay landmarks.

A large scale photographic exhition can be found on the sea front in Herne Bay, and She Rose is displaying a sketch book style exhibition explaining each of the images and displaying many of the prints in a smaller format. There is an opportunity to purchase both framed and unframed photographs.
Liz Gregg is a freelance photographer for both editorial and commercial clients. In 2021 Liz had a large scale photographic exhibition of her Black White and Gold, dog photographs on the sea front in Herne Bay.
Florence Lee
4th June - 24th June 2022
She Rose is planning an exhibition of specially commissioned paintings by Florence Lee. Her work
is influenced by modern day expressionist figurative artists who focus on the visibility of brushstrokes within a painting. She has an interest in the ability of our minds to finish unfinished lines or areas of paintings, often intentionally leaving areas raw or underdeveloped.
Flo's work has been featured in print and online publications, it has been published in the Portraits for NHS heroes book, alongside small solo exhibitions she has collaborated with interiors enthusiasts and had work hand selected for advertising campaigns and TV and designed a debut album cover.
